THE SLEEPY OWL MAKES SPACE FOR THEIR GUESTS

January 18 20:15 2019

Fort Frances, ON The Sleepy Owl, a premier hotel in Fort Frances, ON has created a brand new car park to their facility in order to create a wider space for customer parking. Since being taken over by new owners last February, The Sleepy Owl has investigated and implemented strategies for their hotel to provide an outstanding experience for the customers. The new car park is just one example of their progressive attitude towards better service and will make parking easier for all guests, from fishermen with towed boats to construction companies with large work vehicles.

“To serve our clients better, we have removed the old building next door, for the purpose of customer parking,” said, Wade Friesen, the spokesperson of Sleepy Owl. “We are also planning to add another 15 spots, plus have more room for the current 15 spots on the east side of the hotel. This should remove any need to use the street parking or parking lots of other businesses further away.”

The Sleepy Owl takes pride in their proximity to conveniences and experiences such as Starbucks, the waterfront, and Fort Frances’ charming downtown boutiques.Given their prime location, parking was sometimes an issue, but not any more. Once guests enter the hotel doors, they’re immersed in a “home away from home” experience that has created many loyal guests.

Guests can expect to be greeted with the kind of warmth they’d look for in arriving at a long time friend’s home. The friendly and professional atmosphere (and gourmet cookies waiting for guests when they arrive) make checking into The Sleepy Owl a comfortable and reassuring experience. The morning’s continental breakfast is perfect for guests getting a head start on a long day of work or those who will spend the morning relaxing. Hot, bountiful and ready to enjoy at 5 am, guests can enjoy their breakfast sitting in the common area or grab a paper bag and make their own custom take out breakfast.

Internet wifi is available at the entire hotel facility, free for every guest. For outdoor enthusiasts, bikes are available to rent during the warmer months. Walking to the town’s prized river front is just a few blocks away as well.

The community of Fort Frances is lively all year round. Snowmobiles race through streets in the winter while parades and festivals take over those same streets in the summer. Historic buildings line the streets, especially downtown, but it’s nature that really puts on a show. Sitting in the middle of gorgeous lake territory, there is something to see and do for everyone.

When it’s time to retreat at the end of the day, The Sleepy Owl has some of the best rooms in Fort Frances. Single rooms, double rooms, and suites make up the small 24 room hotel. Each room is organized with one or more queen sized beds and other valuable accessories such as writing desk, mini-fridge, high-speed internet wifi, a 40″ screen TV with SHAW Cable and much more.
