– We send you confirmation e-mail’s for your Go Live date, as well as confirmation that your rigs are mining.

– Insurance is provided for rigs being hosted at the facility

– If a rig fails during the first few months, we’ll replace it.

An interview with Felipe Pinto, CEO, Bit49:

Q: How are you able to provide 14.7 TH/s performance on 13.5 TH/s machines?

Fil: If your first thought is “magic”, sadly that’s a ‘no’. Through our partnership, we’ve been able to secure software that keeps your wattage low, while maximizing how much your machine can mine.

Q: Do you have warranties?

Fil: Given that these are used S9’s, we do not provide warranties, and it is likely that the Bitmain warranties have lapsed. Having said that, we understand that our success requires your success. Each shipment of rigs is inspected to ensure a certain level of quality, and we are able to replace machines that reach the end of their life cycle in the first few months. After that, we consider it normal a wear and tear expense.

Q: Do I get to keep my machine, or is this just a rental?

Fil: We’ve baked the price of the machine into the overall price of the hosting package. Once the contract has finished, it’s yours to do with as you feel necessary.

Q: Do I get VPN at this facility?

Fil: VPN is available for those with at least 24 machines hosted at the site. For those with less, we provide reboot access if the customer signs up for HIVEOS.
