Mainstreet Mob, a tech inspired company that creates digital and event marketing solutions is set to launch in Detroit. This new platform allowing small businesses and shoppers to connect through social media and cash mob events will launch on March 10, 2019 at The Commons in celebration of their 1 year Anniversary located at 7900 Mack Ave. Detroit, MI 48214.
The platform is part of larger effort, I Am Mainstreet America, a digital media company that highlights America’s small business entrepreneurs and mobilizes citizens everywhere to champion them.
Today’s small business scenario is about shoestring budgets and many owners feel excluded from mainstream dialogues on Detroit’s revival. Mainstreet Mob has taken up the challenge to change the fortunes of these small business owners by bringing in customers, both online and offline.
Cash Mobs are when groups of people join together to make purchases at local businesses as a show of support. Mob participants who join the online Mainstreet Mob platform, earn points, prizes, rewards and other perks in return for participating.
For businesses, Mainstreet Mob works on the principle of ‘work smart, not hard’, and the mob events are just half of the equation. In addition to these live events, Mainstreet Mob also takes over the social media of each small business during a 90-day campaign.
